Rebuilding a Successful Retirement
Length: 4 Hours
CPE Credits: 4
Course Catalog Description:
What does retirement "Success" look like? Is it mere idleness? Endless projects? Futzing in the garden or basement? Playing with the grandkids? Part-time work? Worrying about your portfolio? Arts and Crafts? Restoring muscle cars?
Many CPAs and other financial professionals and their clients spend more time planning a vacation than they do planning on how they'll live out the retirement decades of their lives.
This class assumes that a majority of the professional "Boomer," Gen X, Gen Y, and Millennial segments of our population have concerns about retirement, and in the non-financial as well as the financial aspects of retirement.
Mr. McGowan, a former lawyer, stockbroker, fund raiser, corporate trainer, and current writer, has been semi-retired for almost 12 years, and enjoys it.
A portion of this workshop will consist of writing excercises
